Masala Box: A Hidden Gem for Authentic Indian Cuisine in Gladstone, OR

The food here was delicious. We placed a large order for my department at work and I have never heard our group so quiet. Everyone was just focused on the food. They were so accommodating with everything. Asked for spice level on each order. The samosas were DELICIOUS!!! We had the Butter chicken, chicken diced Masala, Vegan Saag, chicken strips and fries. Everything was incredible. We all agreed it was definitely a 5 out of 5 on all items. I should also mention that this is a family run business and they could not be nicer. They are truly wonderful and care about the people they are serving.

GO HERE!!!! The food is INSANELY good. We eat out just about everywhere in PDX and just about every week and 1000% can say this is one of our favorite places. It is a true hidden gem. Stephen also provides the most absolute best service ever as well, he literally treats you like you are family and has the best attitude ever with his customers. He shakes your hand, offers to take the food to your car, and is honest and genuine about his food. If this place was a full blown restaurant it would be without a doubt packed with customers. The Chicken Masala is AMAZING, the Naan bread is incredibly good, and everything is FRESHLY made to order so please order ahead in advance! Samosas are incredible and the mango smoothie is to die for. This place puts serious dedication into their food.

Steven was a gracious host and chef. Popped in after coming home from work (literally an hour ago). Husband and I are so glad we chose this for dinner. We ordered the #1 and it was SO flavorful. We shared a large and still have leftovers! Delicious food, excellent service. Next time we visit, definitely going to try out the ice cream as well A new favorite establishment

The people that own and run this place have some of the best customer service i have yet to experience hands down! The food is fantastic and the prices on the kratom and food are very reasonable. My wife makes trips out of her way to see them and have the food. I highly recommend!

Steven and his wife make THE BEST food ever. There samosas and sauce are heavenly. Steven also just happens to be the sweetest little shop worker ever. As much as I’d love to gate keep this little corner of the world it deserves recognition.

Absolutely amazing. We got #5 and #6. The naan is so fresh and soft. Spice levels are perfect and flavor combinations leave nothing to be desired. Staff was very sweet and enthusiastic. You can tell they really care about what they're doing. Could not recommend a better place. Added bonus of a family run small business. 10/10 would recommend to anyone

Absolutely amazing restaurant the owner is incredibly friendly. The food was delicious, I got the Chicken Diced Masala with Basmati and it was delicious. I also got the madras coffee which was really good but does run pretty sweet. Overall great experience. One thing to take into account is that they are only doing take out at the moment, but you can call ahead, and he will have it ready by the time you get there.

Steven is such an incredible owner. This is some of the best Indian food I have had, immensely fresh and flavorful. The food is cooked to order and takes about thirty minutes, worth every minute of the wait. Do not skip out on the coffee, creamy rich and bold. Steven goes above and beyond the make every meal memorable, his devotion translates into each meal. I have never had better customer service, we cannot wait to go back! Thanks Steven!!
